Brindisa Spanish Foods & Capreolus Artisan English Charcuterie

We are proud to be offering Brindisa Spanish Foods to our customers. Brindisa comes from the word ‘brindis’, to raise one’s glass in a toast, and their work over the past 30 years has been to toast and celebrate the varied cultures, landscapes and, above all the exceptional foods of Spain. Over a quarter of a century of business has allowed them to grow as a tribute toward the people who create the remarkable cheeses, hams, meats, fish, and a huge selection of other ingredients that are now enjoyed in the UK.

Family owned producer from Rampisham , West Dorset. Quality and provenance are of the upmost importance to them sourcing locally bred and reared free-range meat from traditional and rare-breeds. Curing of the meat follows age old traditional techniques. Air drying of the cured meat is carried out in temperature and humidity controlled rooms to overcome the vagaries of the British weather. Smoke is used to enhance the flavour of some of the meats, using beechwood chips giving a delicate flavour which never dominates the fine qualities of the meats. It is critically important to Capreolus that they know where the animals originate from and how they’ve been cared for.
All products listed have been awarded a Great Taste Award. Capreolus Charcuterie have been featured on national television.
